Close military bases in anti-military cities

To my friend Sergi the sometimes liberal from the left coast: I know this is not possible and it is a spoof and not due to my senility

Communities that have shown antagonism to the defense of our nation by baning ROTC or passing ordnance that are anti-military should be placed "off limits" to military personel and all bases should be moved to military friendly areas. It is just not right to ask our troops to put up with disdain and contempt heaped on them by rogue city governments.

SEN. Dianne Feinstein has resigned from the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee. Feinstein was chairperson and ranking member of MILCON for six years, during which time she had a conflict of interest due to her husband Richard C. Blum's ownership of two major defense contractors, who were awarded billions of dollars for military construction projects approved by Feinstein.

As MILCON leader, Feinstein relished the details of military construction, even micromanaging one project at the level of its sewer design. She regularly took junkets to military bases around the world to inspect construction projects, some of which were contracted to her husband's companies, Perini Corp. and URS Corp.

You would think that, considering all the money Feinstein's family has pocketed by waging global warfare while ignoring the plight of wounded American soldiers, she would show a smidgeon of shame and resign from the entire Senate, not just a subcommittee. Conversely, you'd think she might stick around MILCON to try and fix the medical-care disaster she helped to engineer for the vets who were suckered into fighting her and Bush's panoply of unjust wars.

Christmas is returning to schools around the country at an alarming rate to the ACLU. In past years the Christian holiday was banned from many politically correct government schools and replaced with Winter Holiday. Holiday days, and was banned from school speech, decorations, signage and publications.
Walmart has announced they will return Christmas to it's signage.

The Saudi king who once supported President Bush on the Iraqi war has now sided with the US Democratic congress in opposing it. The King also met with Al Queda and came to an agreement with them on the war. Al Qaeda has taken credit for most of the terrorists attacks on the USA including the twin towers murders. Perhaps now we can understand why most of the Twin Towers terrorists carried Saudi passports, a travesty that has never been addressed by our leaders.

It is time for Patriotic Democrats to stand up and be counted on the side of our country or be judged harshly by history and future voters.

Porking the armed services by the sorry ass Democrats on US security vote

Here is a list of the pork used by Pelosi to buy anti-military votes on the latest attack by the Democrats:

$1.5 billion to the Army Corps of Engineers for recovery along the coast, including funding for Hawaii for an April 2006 flood;
$850 million for Department of Homeland Security grants ($625M for rail/transit grants, $190M for port security grants, and $35M for urban area security grants);
$660 million for the procurement of an explosives detection system for the Transportation Security Administration;
$640 million for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program;
$425 million for education grants for rural areas;
$388.9 million for a backlog of Department of Transportation projects;
$165.9 million (including $60.4 million for salmon fisheries in the Klamath Basin region) for fisheries disaster relief;
$100 million for the Democratic and Republican National Conventions;
$95 million for dairy producers;
$75 million for salaries and expenses for the Farm Service Agency;
$48 million in disaster construction money for NASA;
$25 million for grants through the Safe and Drug Free Schools program;
$25 million for asbestos abatement at the Capitol Power Plant;
$24 million to sugar beet producers;
$22.8 million for geothermal research and development;
$20 million for reimbursements to Nevada for “insect damage;”
$13 for the Ewe Lamb Replacement and Retention Program;
$12 million for Forest Service money requested by the president in the non-emergency FY2008 budget
$3.5 million for guided tours of the Capitol;
$3 million for sugar cane; and
Allows the transfer of funds from holiday ornament sales in the Senate gift shop.
