It takes everyone liberal and conservative to run the politics of the engine we call America! Patrotic American warriors defend with their life the right of pacifists to hold the wrong opinions. The Blogmaster harbors some populist ideas and believes in free enterprise as opposed to corporate monopoly capitalism. This is a mostly GOP friendly blog. jdm
two faces of deception
In his autobiography, “Dreams From My Father,” Barrack Obama mentions studying the Koran and describes the public school he attended as “a Muslim school” as he was enrolled there as a person of Muslim faith. In an interview with Nicholas Kristof, published in The New York Times, Obama recited the Muslim call to prayer, the Adhan, “with a first-class [Arabic] accent.”.Barack Obama’s race, his staunch opposition to the war in Iraq, his sympathy to Islam, Palestine, Iran and Muslims worldwide and his Muslim heritage receive massive media coverage in Islamic countries who still see him as a Muslim and a crusader for Islam and world peace..Obama playss it both ways. Black and white, Muslim and Christian. He loves playing one off the other, using one to hide the other even as the traces of the truth may be assembled to reveal the whole cloth of deception and self-promotion he has been weaving so skillfully since his childhood. No wonder he is a man of change. He IS a changeling, a veritable chameleon, adapting and amending his life story to fit the circumstances.

She used to say to me.."FG...I just don't understand why you are not a Democrat and left the Church of Christ...my goodness what has happened to you son. We have always been Democrats and Cambellites!"
As always I would try to explain that I still had my roots as a Harry Truman democrat and only parted ways with the Democrats over perversion as an acceptable desirable life style and abortion as a means of birth control and that I had come to believe that Alexander Campbell's theology was flawed although I had no doubts Saint Peter would welcome his followers thru the Pearly Gates.
The old song says "mama went a walkin" and she is now looking down on a a vastly changed political landscape. I wonder what she would think of the Democrats nominee in 2008...I can only wonder...she was tho ...a good and godly Christian woman.
Dan Boren will not support the far leftist candidacy of Baraka Hussien Obama, Jr. and stand by folks ... he will be stripped of all his privileges by the Pelosi bunch.
We must stand up for his honor and statesmanship.

Below is a reprint of a blog post that among others has reportedly come under fire from liberals on staff at various dot/net groups. The target is our fellow Oklahoma blog...
Fried Green Onions
and the use of the word "commie" and "communist" in referring to the programs and promises of Barak Obama.

The Audacity of Truth
and the demand that FriedGreenOnions be banned from blogger.com
The truth must hurt the non neo con supporters of the first acknowledged Commie to have a serious run at the oval office since Nader helped beat the Democrat with his considerable support. Why do your Marxist roots need to be hid...come out in the light and be politically correct little commies. I guess after years of an ACLU trained media corps in this country the population has been softened up to the prospect of the government hand feeding them all the good things of life. Gosh ... just look at how Socialist FDR's social security program has made paupers out of today's seniors who depended on it instead of providing their own security. If you took all the money that was thrown don the SSA toilet and had invested it the seniors would be drawing adequate retirement benefits instead of food stamp qualified poverty.
A few years ago higher educators in the United States copyrighted their school emblems, logos and mascot art. Professors started writing and copyrighting materials developed while on the public payroll using public facilities and equipment. The legislators went along. The prosecutors did not prosecute the theft. The media did not report the stealing. The business community was bullied into submission by the educators' lawyers and paid the inflated fees for the logos and art their taxes had financed. The public was stuck with their favorite teams sportswear and other logoed wear at five times the normal price. The rights to art, logos, literary creations and inventions developed at taxpayer expense belong to the taxpayer and not the paid employees of our public institutions. The legislatures should take back ownership of these works and they should be returned to the public domain for any individual or business to use and enjoy fee free. Jim Martin, Newcastle "

The time is now!
How can you set there with that smug look on your face ...
eternity comes fast and you don't know your place ...
Fate is standing in the dark shadows playing to your pride ...
and here you are unconcerned like time was on your side ...
The day will come when your ladder of life has no more rungs ...
and all your choices will expire with the breath in your lungs. ..
The nearest Bible can help you make your choice of eternal habitation ...
for you can find Christ Jesus in every book from Genesis to Revelation. ..

Poem of my youth...composed on October 23, 2006
Tracks of a friend in the snow
I have lain on the path of bone chilling fear ...
watched as the death angel hovered near ...
Midnight I rode the trail where black lion stalked ...
my steed snorting his course stayed.. balked ...
I lost my seat and the moon swirled around ...
my head was the first to kiss frozen ground ...
My body bounced down the Arbuckles crag ...
the earth drank my blood and there I laid ...
and dreamed the dream of death’s opening door ...
of life unlived and path’s untracked with joy untasted ...
my future my claim on living gone as I lay wasted ...
but awareness came as light chased away the night ...
My companion grazed close by had kept the cat away ...
snow tracks around my death bed testified to his stay ...
my shirt red soaked with life’s precious fluid staining the ground ...
I drug my pain racked body to the saddle and started down ...
past the still waiting mountain lion eyes peering from thick weeds ...
the smell of my blood kept him waiting to quench his savage needs ...
I looked back as he smelled my blood spilled in the snow where I lay ...
then followed us for awhile before turning to find unguarded prey ...
Danpatch went to equine heaven during the next season’s winter strife ...
But in my dreams I still count the tracks of my friend who saved my life.

Don't Tread on My Flag
We must be very concerned about who we elect as President and Commander in Chief...They must be willing to affirm the Christian roots of this country and the heritage of free enterprise and religious freedom. The must disavow any connection to any other world opinion than one that puts American interests first! They must pledge to never be the instrument of American submission to any authority that subverts the High Law of the Constitution of the United States. At the very least as a potential Commander In Chief of United States Armed Forces they must be able pass and receive a personal Top Secret Clearance background check that we demand of our defenders.God Bless the USA Keep us Free!
