A few years ago higher educators in the United States copyrighted their school emblems, logos and mascot art. Professors started writing and copyrighting materials developed while on the public payroll using public facilities and equipment. The legislators went along. The prosecutors did not prosecute the theft. The media did not report the stealing. The business community was bullied into submission by the educators' lawyers and paid the inflated fees for the logos and art their taxes had financed. The public was stuck with their favorite teams sportswear and other logoed wear at five times the normal price.
The rights to art, logos, literary creations and inventions developed at taxpayer expense belong to the taxpayer and not the paid employees of our public institutions. The legislatures should take back ownership of these works and they should be returned to the public domain for any individual or business to use and enjoy fee free. It seems the attack on arch rival and out and out cable/satellite leader in news and views Fox gets more time than commercials on MSNBC. As Fox tries to present the news to viewers in a form with clear and honest tagging of opinion. That is not true on the Channel next door as bleeding thru the programing on a minute by minute basis is out and out glee over the narrow win by liberals in the US House and Senate. The war and body count on MSNBC is like a game show with the military losses a gain for left. Pure globalist rhetoric spews from the mouth of hate filled angry moderators who can only sniff the rear of their main competition occasionally. MSNBC has become what we read about in Goerge Orwell's "Animal Farm" and the Fox is in and out of the henhouse before the pigs can say "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others".
Years ago when I was on staff at KTOK Red Rover Radio in Oklahoma City my manager Hewel Jones said "I don't care what they say about KTOK as long as they get the call sign correct!". The idiots at MSNBC and their supporters in other media are to stupid to know that.

For the past few days I have spent time reading the posts and comments on a liberal anti Fox news blog started by people that were on George Soros payroll (perhaps still are) at http://moveon.org .
The site is constantly moderated and posts that are objectionable are deleted without apology. That is certainly ok for the one who pays the IP to do but what will surprise you is the criteria for deletion...you probably thought that foul language or calling some one names would be involved and it is not. They delete for effect...if a "troll" as they call posters who are not leftists get the better of the liberals on a string...delete time.
The site groupies have a lemming mindset and walk jack step. All of the hated people they call liars and even say should be "eliminated from society" are:
Christians, old people, people who are not college grads, American Indians, anyone that is registered other than democrat, pro life, person who do not favor homosexual super rights, etc. If you would like to see how far the left has traveled down the road of misinformation take a ride over to the hounds and see...

I would say that tho to you and I some ways of religion seem silly...we would grant them the choice of worship as long it does not harm others. I would doubt that you are anti-creator (if in fact one exists) and I would doubt that you are anti-morals. I would further guess that you would like God the Creator to be as you have designed Her, Him or It in your mind. I would also guess that the morality you would hope for would exclude the actions deemed sins in some religions that are very personal delights to you.
Slip your mind into sci/fi gear and imagine a Creator who knows everything about you and everything about every ancestor you have and everything about every bit of matter in this universe and infinite other universes.
Now step back and take another look at your desires and foibles and can you not agree that this personage loves you and your individuality and can you not admit that in some things you may be off track even tho it does not matter. SheHeIt loves the whole creation and has the time to wait while you were being formed and then smiles at your foibles and is proud of your success. That is...if SheHeIt exists!

MY REVIEW OF AARON RUSSO'S FILM, "AMERICA: FREEDOM TO FASCISM"

Several readers have written me asking that I promote Aaron Russo's new film. Well, until recently I had not seen it, and certainly I could not promote (or criticize) a film until I had an opportunity to view it. That opportunity presented itself a few days ago in the form of a private screening.
Most readers probably already know that Aaron Russo has enjoyed a distinguished career as a film producer winning Grammy, Tony, and Emmy awards. His films have starred people such as Bette Midler, Lionel Hampton, Eddie Murphy, Nick Nolte, Morgan Freeman, and many others. To date, Russo's films have been nominated for six Academy Awards, as well as seven Golden Globes. His films have won three Golden Globes and the Image Award. His latest film is a documentary entitled, "America: Freedom To Fascism."
The film begins with a critical review of two monumental events that happened in 1913: the adoption of the 16th Amendment, which has been interpreted to authorize the forced taxation of individual income and the creation of the Federal Reserve, which turned the governance of America's financial system over to a centralized private banking interest. The film intelligently and convincingly makes a strong case for the opinion that both the 16th Amendment and the Federal Reserve System are flatly unconstitutional and may not even have been legally adopted.
Russo's film then factually demonstrates how modern presidents (especially Bush I, Clinton, and Bush II) have led America out of the light of liberty and into a dark alley of fascism (hence the film's title). The film provides many examples to prove the reality of that statement.
-- The New York Times reported Nov. 7 that prisoners digging foundations for the expansion of Megiddo Prison north of Jerusalem in the Valley of Armageddon uncovered ruins of what might be the earliest Christian church discovered in the Holy Land. Intricate mosaics dating to the third century A.D. bear inscriptions in Greek. The Israel Antiquities Authority has preliminarily rendered the translation of one inscription as reading, “The God-loving Aketous has offered this table to the God Jesus Christ, as a memorial.”

I just finished watching the Sunday rerun of the Saturday rerun of a Cspan program that aired two years ago on the book "Abraham" and it was intriguing to see my thoughts and others thoughts on this subject being played out in book form and on TV. For this dialog to work all those in the three faiths who "have all the answers" have to be ignored and pushed into the background. Religious leaders gravitate to their positions for the love of power and they will not go quietly into the night.

It is a critical time for the brave military men and women who protect our interests and safety as the pacifists 246 strangle our collective necks with Red tape aimed at killing the war effort. The strange story of Democratic fat cat donor Norman Hsu is rich and revealing, but it certainly isn't the only controversy that puts the lie to the Democratic claim to have ended the culture of corruption. Other embarrassing developments include the fine assessed to Americans Coming Together, the group backed by Democratic donor George Soros; the New Jersey corruption scandal that has cast a wide net over state Democrats; and Democratic Senator Hillary Clinton's legal troubles with former donor Peter Paul.
The New York papers, even the Times, are giving the Hsu story significant coverage, since it involves a home-state senator. But the scandal is getting very little TV coverage, and the other stories even less.
By one count, each of the big three broadcast networks did one in-depth story about the strange case of Hsu, and one follow-up. But nothing is being done so far in the major media to suggest this is a scandal that reflects badly on the Clintons.
This could easily change, however, as the powerful New York Times could decide that the latest scandal is an indication that Senator Clinton carries too much baggage to be a viable Democratic presidential candidate. Will the paper then pull the plug on Hillary and carry the banner for Senator Barack Obama? Only time will tell.
Funny Money
The Hsu story began in August when the Wall Street Journal exposed the more than $1 million that this "businessman" had donated to or bundled for Democratic candidates, with the largest amount going to Hillary Clinton's campaign. There is strong evidence suggesting that Hsu has been making donations through other people, such as the Paw family in the San Francisco area, in which the head of the household, who earned about $50,000 a year as a postman, and other members of his family, gave more than $200,000 to Democratic candidates and organizations. The house that is listed as their residence used to be owned by Hsu.
Hillary's campaign tried to make the story go away by stating its intentions to give to charity the $23,000 that Hsu had personally contributed to her campaign. It says it is now planning to give back all $850,000 that Hsu, who also served as a board member of former President Clinton's Clinton Global Initiative, had solicited for her campaign. The Washington Post reported that "Clinton officials said that the senator, acting out of 'an abundance of caution,' had directed the campaign to return donations from about 260 contributors tied to Hsu because of his apparent involvement in an illegal investment scheme."

One thing is becoming clear as elections come and go...the GOP can forget about attracting the black vote. If you are not black you do not know what words to use and the die is cast for the other party... No matter what the party of Lincoln does and says the overwhelming majority of African Americans continue to vote for the Democrats. Bush has appointed more African Americans to high office than any President before him and blacks hold him and Republicans in low repute.
Perhaps I am not qualified to judge the negative reaction to the the word 'articulate' as used by President Bush because I have never suffered the discrimination that blacks have. (Biden was out and out raciest in his remarks) I can see some similarity in the slams that some out of staters post about "dumb Okies" and perhaps if someone said I was was articulate for an Okie it would bother me...nahhhh. I have seen several blacks on TV using the Okie word in a disrespectful manner and we shall overcome. After all Oklahoma has won two national beauty titles in a row and pretty is more important. Both candidates were beautiful and articulate Okies.

"Sophisticated" critics usually react to the word "evil" with condescension and derision. Describing something as "evil," in their view, generally brands one as an unenlightened throw-back to the dark ages -- or the equivalent of a televangelist preaching hellfire and damnation. Who forgets the outcry when President Reagan described the Soviet Union as the "Evil Empire?" Or today, when President Bush refers to the "Axis of Evil?" Commentators unequivocally condemn the word as an outmoded judgmental term unfit for today's multi-cultural world. Unless, of course, one wants to use it to describe the United States of America or Western Civilization itself.
The question, "Is America evil?" is routinely discussed not just on message boards and in chat rooms -- the Internet equivalent of bathroom walls -- but by tenured professors and in respected newspapers. A New York Times book review on January 11, 2004, quotes author Lance Morrow from his book: "Evil, An Investigation". "Americans are struggling now with the possibility that their country may be evil -- or, to be more practical, that their country may be doing evil in the world." Just two weeks later, the front page of Book Review section reads: "Is America an evil empire? Seven new books seem ready to think so."
Most Americans are shocked at the notion of an evil America. Considering our history, the attack on our country's character is hard to fathom. Over the last two centuries immigrants came in droves, seeking refuge from tyranny and poverty. They found unequalled freedom and opportunity secured by a stable democracy. During that time, totalitarian barbarity threatened to consume the world. America played a crucial role in defeating European and Japanese fascism in WWII. However, Europe was left in ruins and half enslaved by Communism. In Asia, Japan was in ruins and China soon became Communist. We then faced the Communist strain of totalitarianism; one that would result in the deaths of 100 million people and threatened to engulf the world. Once again, our military might was crucial. We contained Communism until it fell of its own internal contradictions. In short, America has saved civilization.
Given the recent worldwide attacks by Islamic terrorists, why isn't the question "Is Islam evil?" With few exceptions (Turkey, for example), Islamic countries are fascist, autocratic or theocratic, where women are subjugated and minorities persecuted. Islamic countries are rife with poverty and have been for centuries. Polls show that in many Islamic countries a majority of Muslims lionize the man responsible for the atrocities of September 11th and the terrorist gangs who routinely slaughter civilians in Israeli buses and restaurants. In Arab schools and on Arab television, children are taught the glory of becoming suicide bombers. Almost everywhere that Islam borders other cultures, there is violence.

Why one man left Islam
As I have continued to monitor liberals blog comments for the psst few weeks I am amazed at the hate for Christians by the posters. Not all of course but half or more will constantly makes fun of family values and virtue as expounded by Christian. Some call Christians Snake handlers referring to a group of a few hundred in the world that go overboard on the basis of one scriptural reference to an isolated event in scripture. Some lump all into the extreme tele evangelist money raising crowd. I do not see how a believing Christian could feel comfortable if the Democratic party is composed of such haters as I find on blogs such as Hounds and Capitol Talk and others you can link to from those two.
While I am not looking for the eminent return of Christ and the apocalyptic events of Revelations to jump out in the next few years I am reminded of the words of Jesus and the New Testament that referred to the end times loss of values. As I recall our Lord said that in the end times the detractors would call evil as good and good as evil. That scenario is seen strong and clear in statements on the liberal blogs as people say that Christians who oppose abortion are guilty of being evil for that opposition. When Christians support the death penalty imposition as the right of human government to punish those guilty of capitol crimes the antagonists say that this support should not exist in the same arena as the Christian pro life view.
I have spent my whole life in the company of Christians of various denominations and find them to be honorable tho divided in their approach to morality. Certainly in the believing Christian community we have those who drop by the wayside and are exposed for human failings from time to time but that does not erase the commonality of holding to the message of Jesus Christ in whose steps can be found the answer to man's search for peace, hope and charity for Adam's race.
We are told that "each in his own time" and that we are not to root out the "tares" that grow along with the wheat but are to take our stand and be ready to give every man an answer for our faith in the Creator. We can do no less and the barbs that come our way must be chalked up as our contribution to the "fellowship of His sufferings".

My body bounced down the Arbuckles crag ...
the earth drank my blood and there I laid ...
and dreamed the dream of death’s opening door ...
of life unlived and path’s untracked with joy untasted ...
my future my claim on living gone as I lay wasted ...
but awareness came as light chased away the night ...
My companion grazed close by had kept the cat away ...
snow tracks around my death bed testified to his stay ...
my shirt red soaked with life’s precious fluid staining the ground ...
I drug my pain racked body to the saddle and started down ...
past the still waiting mountain lion eyes peering from thick weeds ...

Don't Tread on My Flag
We must be very concerned about who we elect as President and Commander in Chief...They must be willing to affirm the Christian roots of this country and the heritage of free enterprise and religious freedom. The must disavow any connection to any other world opinion than one that puts American interests first! They must pledge to never be the instrument of American submission to any authority that subverts the High Law of the Constitution of the United States.At the very least as a potential Commander In Chief of United States Armed Forces they must be able pass and receive a personal Top Secret Clearance background check that we demand of our defenders.God Bless the USA Keep us Free!
